These few definitions will make clear the singularly ingenious idea of Aristotle on the nature of the body, the soul, and of their union.
These definitions would have all the precision that could be desired if the distinction between physical and psychological causation were clear and sharp.
In further explanation it should be said that some slight deference has been made to other wits, and the definitions include a few quotations from the great minds of the past and present.
